About the Advocacy

Providing information, support, consultation, and advocacy services for parents of exceptional students, educators, and school districts.

For over 20 years, I’ve had the opportunity to work in the field of special education, from a classroom teacher, to high school administrator, to principal and county office special education director. I have worked with remarkable staff, outside agencies, service providers, and families doing the very best for exceptional students. I have also encountered hardworking families frustrated with the lack of support and services for their children who are not provided the access to classes, services and the opportunities they deserve for an accommodated, inclusive, successful educational environment. If you find yourself in need of advice, consultation, or advocacy, please give me a call, send an email, or let me know your availability and we can meet to discuss your child’s individual situation. Please explore, and don’t hesitate to reach out if you’d like to learn more.
